The New York Public Library (NYPL), one of the nation’s largest public library systems with over 2,600 employees, wanted to boost employee engagement and build trust with leaders. While core channels provided a strong foundation, the communication team knew it was time to take its program to the next level. We conducted an audit of the Library’s internal communication practices, facilitated a workshop to refresh the system (how tools work together) and developed an employee communication plan for the year.
