Davis & Company believes in spreading holiday cheer to those in need. This year, we adopted two local families through the Bergen Volunteers’ Holiday Giving Program All Wrapped Up and purchased all of the items on their holiday wish lists. The families who received gifts from Davis & Company included a single father supporting his mother and two children, and a single mother with a young daughter, who became unemployed due to the pandemic. Both families are struggling to make ends meet.

“This is our 12th year we’ve partnered with Bergen Volunteers. In these uncertain times, it’s more important than ever to give back to your community,” says Donna Marino, Director of Operations and People at Davis & Company.  

Due to COVID challenges, gifts were purchased by team members and sent to Donna’s home. She sorted, wrapped and then delivered the packages to the designated local agencies. Wish list items included gift cards, clothing, toys, towels, kitchen utensils, hair accessories and games.

“We’re proud that Davis & Company has supported All Wrapped Up for a decade. Our team loves being part of a program that makes the holidays brighter for people in need. They are very generous, and it’s fun to shop for items on family members’ wish lists—it makes us feel like Santa’s helpers,” adds CEO Alison Davis.

All Wrapped Up is one of the many Bergen Volunteers programs dedicated to improving lives and strengthening community. This year 700 companies and other donors provided gifts for approximately 555 families and 750 individuals.
