iBooks for iOS devices (iPad/iPhone)

  1. Using your iOS device, tap on the link to the EPUB file you received in your confirmation email.
  2. Your browser will prompt you to “Open in iBooks.”
  3. Tap on the link.
  4. The book will open directly in the app and save to your iBooks library.

 

iBooks for iOS devices (via iTunes on computer)

  1. Click on the EPUB file in your confirmation email to download and save it to a folder on your computer.
  2. Open iTunes.
  3. Drag the EPUB file into iTunes or click “Add to Library” from the “File” menu and navigate to your EPUB.
  4. Connect your iOS device to your computer and wait for it to show up in iTunes under “Devices.”
  5. Click the “Books” tab and check the “Sync Books” box. You can choose to sync all books or only selected books. If syncing selected books, check the box beside the e-book titles you wish to sync.
  6. Click the “Sync” button in the lower right of the screen. iTunes will begin syncing your e-book to your iPad.
  7. Open iBooks and your book should be available in the iBooks library. Tap to open.

 

iBooks for Mac app

  1. Click on the EPUB file in your confirmation email.
  2. Save the file to a folder on your computer.
  3. Double click on the file.
  4. The book will open directly in the app and save to your iBooks library.

 


 

Kindle Reader (via USB)

  1. Click on the MOBI link in your confirmation email to download the MOBI file to your computer.
  2. Connect your Kindle to your computer using the manufacturer provided USB cable.
  3. Wait for your Kindle to mount as a new drive on your computer.
  4. Copy the MOBI file into the “Documents” directory on the Kindle (or the “Books” folder if you’re using a Kindle Fire).
  5. Eject your device and then disconnect your device from the computer. Your e-book should appear in your Kindle library.

 

Kindle Reader (via email—Amazon may charge a fee for this service)

  1. Documents can only be sent to your Kindle devices or apps from email accounts that you added to your “Approved Personal Document Email List.” To add an email account, visit the “Personal Document Settings” page (https://www.amazon.com/myk#manageDevices) at “Manage Your Kindle” (https://www.amazon.com/myk).
  2. Click on the MOBI link in your confirmation email to download the MOBI file to your computer.
  3. Create a new mail message and enter your “Send-to-Kindle” email address in the TO field. To find your “Send-to-Kindle” email address, visit the “Manage your Devices” page (https://www.amazon.com/myk#manageDevices) at “Manage Your Kindle” (https://www.amazon.com/myk).
  4. Attach your MOBI file to the email. You don’t need a subject line or message.
  5. Click “Send.”
  6. Your e-book should show on your Kindle shortly (it make take about 15 minutes).

 


 

Nook e-book reader

  1. Click on the EPUB link in your confirmation email to download the EPUB file to your computer.
  2. Connect your Nook to your computer using the manufacturer provided USB cable.
  3. Wait for your Nook to mount as a new drive on your computer.
  4. Copy the EPUB file into the “Documents” directory on the Nook.
  5. Eject your device and then disconnect your device from the computer. Your e-book should appear in your Nook library.
