About Donna Marino
Donna oversees all aspects of office management at Davis & Company, including facilities and executive/client support. In her role as director, operations and people, she manages recruiting, employee relations and events. She also supports our consulting team with production assistance, proofreading and coordination of special projects.
Prior to joining Davis & Company, Donna served as office manager for Effective Communications Group, where she was responsible for all office management functions as well as planning and marketing communication workshops. She has also worked as a credit administrator for Reckett Benckiser, a leading manufacturer of consumer products.
Donna is a graduate of Berkeley College’s Executive Secretarial program. She enjoys hiking in the Adirondacks.

What is the most satisfying or memorable project you’ve worked on?
Our office renovation several years ago was an exciting project to work on. Our office was dark and dated but after working with the right professionals, we created a work environment that optimized our square footage, natural light and functionality. Our new space showcases our brand and culture. Come visit!
Who (or what) inspires you in your work?
Our team of professionals at Davis & Company. Everyone is smart and talented and strives for perfection. It keeps me motivated to work hard, do my best and make my colleagues happy.
What was your first job?
I worked at Burger King a long time ago! I greeted you, took your order and made your burger. “Hi, welcome to Burger King, may I take your order?”
What genre of music helps you do your best work?
I go from one genre to another…could be Classic Rock or New Age.
Where did you grow up?
Park Ridge, New Jersey—with five brothers on a tree-lined street, wooded backyard, ballpark and town pool right down the road.
Where's the most memorable place you've traveled to?
Road to Hana; or Angel’s Landing.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
I like to go hiking. Lots to see and explore in New Jersey.
What was the first album you bought?
Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin and Toys in the Attic by Aerosmith were part of my album collection.
What’s your favorite movie?
Last of the Mohicans starring Daniel Day Lewis
What’s your favorite color?
Green, all shades of course!
What’s your favorite song?
Seeing Bruce Springsteen perform any song in concert but if I had to choose just one song then Land of Hope and Dreams...or maybe The Promised Land...hmmm, maybe Living Proof...
What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Well, for the longest time it was chocolate chip mint…but now, my new favorite is homemade strawberry with chocolate sprinkles! YUM! Let’s go get some!

Get outside! Breath in that fresh air!

What are three things you can’t live without?
Let’s be honest and real…a roof over my head, food on the table and good health. Then of course there’s family. Well…maybe just some family lol!
