Alison Davis shares strategies for engaging employees at ZS Associates' annual conference

Glen Rock, N.J.—July 14, 2010 Even the best incentive compensation (IC) program can't meet its objectives unless employees understand it, believe that it's fair and know how to use the plan to maximize their earnings.

Yet it's getting more and more difficult to build support for IC plans: They're far too complex, change management is poorly focused, and managers lack the detailed knowledge to explain and answer questions about the program.

Alison Davis, CEO of Davis & Company, and Ram Moorthy, Principle, ZS Pune, will co-lead a ZS Associates conference session on Tuesday, July 27 at 3 p.m., that explains five strategies for overcoming the obstacles to engagement, and creating awareness and buy-in for your IC plan.

This 60 minute session, which is sponsored by ZS Associates, will discuss how to:

  • Evaluate your current program to understand your employees' perceptions and preferences
  • Translate complicated content into simple, persuasive communication that uses plain language and visuals
  • Build knowledge and support among those who will explain the program: your leaders and managers
  • Use a mix of communication channels to engage employees
