Alison Davis to offer new approach to crisis communication planning at Insurance & Financial Communicators Annual Conference

Glen Rock, N.J.—August 12, 2009 Alison Davis will show insurance and financial communicators a simpler approach for creating a crisis communication plan and getting buy-in at the 2009 Insurance & Financial Communicators Annual Conference beginning September 13 in St. Louis.

Davis, company founder and frequent speaker on employee and HR communication, will lead an interactive session, "Crisis Communication Plans Made Simple (and Painless)". Davis will present an approach to crisis communication planning based on the discipline of disaster planning, which uses scenarios to focus on the situations that need to be addressed. Participants will get to practice with a crisis communication plan template and run a drill (only a test) to demonstrate how the plan would be deployed when a crisis hits.
