Need to enhance brainstorming sessions so they're more creative and productive? A new video produced by employee communication firm Davis & Company offers tips on overcoming common challenges to make brainstorming better.
"Too often, brainstorming sessions fall flat, without producing any useful ideas," said Alison Davis, Davis & Company CEO. "So, we created a video to help you avoid three common pitfalls and ensure a successful session."
The video also demonstrates how to use a facilitation tool called The Magic Board Facilitation Kit, designed to help brainstorm, organize ideas, plan and solve problems more effectively.
The Magic Board is a flexible nylon sheet coated with adhesive, which allows paper to stick to it. Pin it to a wall, and it becomes an instant facilitation tool. Ideas written on strips of paper can be added, removed or rearranged easily.
"We use The Magic Board in almost all our meetings," said Davis. "We find it more engaging and productive than writing on a flip chart."
