Congratulations! David Pitre promoted to VP, Consulting Services

Davis & Company, a leading employee communication consulting firm, has promoted David Pitre to vice president of its Consulting Services group. In his new role, David leads a team of consultants who help the firm's clients reach, engage and motivate their employees by developing innovative solutions to their internal communication challenges.

David is also the Assessment & Measurement practice leader for the firm. In this capacity, he has designed Davis & Company's Communication Effectiveness Scorecard, which provides companies with a system for measuring the value of its employee communication efforts.

A native of Toronto, David has had a varied career in employee communication, graphic design, information architecture, facilitation and multi-media. Before joining Davis & Company in 2005, David was with Direct Energy, where he developed an internal communication function across North America; he also worked at Towers Perrin and Aon Consulting.

David is a graduate of Ryerson University (Toronto) and holds an MBA in design management from the University of Westminster (London). He is a member of the Council of Communication Management and recently chaired the Council's annual conference (2008).
